Hello,

Just fitted some new WTB ranger 27.5x3.0 light fast tyres on dually 50 rims. Went up a treat and the rear had stayed inflated.

When I first inflated the front without stans and inside I noticed air coming out of a small hole in the sidewall. Is this normal? The stans fluid seems to have sealed it but it is losing air somewhere as it is soft after 4 hours.

Cheers.

Go for a ride all should be well my trailblazer light fast did the same but is now fine. I have a ranger tough to fit instead but haven't got round to it yet.

I've had similar problems with WTB light/fast tyres (but not the tough ones).

Out of 3 tyres one had holes that wouldn't seal and kept deflating, one had holes that sealed after a ride, one didn't have any holes and sealed fine first time.

Seems to be a relatively common problem with their lighter carcasses.

Thanks for the replies. I've dunked it in a bucket and found no bubbles so maybe it's sealed now.

I'm always amazed what that stans stuff can seal up so hopefully it will be ok.

Cheers.
