Now I hate politicians at the best of times, let alone those that "car door" people, but more importantly, is this a politicain, accepting blame and saying "I was wrong" for the first time in my memory?

She probably added 'that more Tory politicians have doored cyclists, whilst in opposition' in her next breath.

It's OK, it's just election mode. Normal arrogance will be restored tomorrow.

I thought about posting this up, but actually it's a bit of a non-story isn't it? Unless of course everybody is so cynical that they don't think it possible for an MP to act like a decent human being.

never heard of this woman, but then as we speak, swarms of injury chasing firms are scouring the nation along with parts of the rabid press to produce the cyclist, and to make massive claims for the cyclist for the very serious injuries and damage to his /her bike that may have been involved.

Tomorrow we will see various shocking headlines about how the cyclist was just riding home from work and was doored by a middle aged woman in a car who may or may not have been using a mobile phone.

Perhaps she thought the cyclist was the plebgate one and just wanted a quick word with him.
