I'm so bored with watching England try and play football I've entered HtN as a solo rider

Looking at my photo again, it seems that my office wall in in a worse state than the six year old MTB forks in front of it.

Just back from a spin or three round the course:
It's dusty, fast & fun.

New bermy bits bedded in perfectly, rocky chicanes dry and grippy - frankly, it's ace. 🙂

If you have the slightest inclination to meet nice people, ride your bike around some of the best trails in the North, drink ale and dance yer pants off, then sign up. Now.

I won't find out the numbers until the morning so I suspect I won't be getting much sleep.

Thanks to all those who have helped. Let's see what happens next.

Andy, i can't make this year as i'll be on a ferry to France when it all kicks off. However, would it help if i entered but put off racing till next time (pehaps i might even get number board 1 at HTN 3)?

cheers
Ant

Hold on there... the event isn't OK (I'll know in the morning). I don't want to take Ant's money.

Tick followed tock…

Right then… back in the office after 2 weeks on holiday getting bollocked off the wife for spending all my time on here or worrying about the race.
Costings revised. Band, new banners and some other bits of kit on hold without compromising the course, marshal cover, medical, barriers, bike racking, timing, DJ or beer tent.

I know what the revised break even figure is.

I just need the entries off Terrahawk who is getting over his heroics at OSMM (3rd in solo).

Tick followed tock…

Right, I've entered, but as wondering if there was a "platinum package" you could provide - y'know, personalised portaloo, priority service at the bar by the wench with the biggest jugs etc 😀

I'm willing to dispense with the services of my fluffer.

And you can cancel the geese, I'll use bog roll along with the rest of the peasants.

Regards,

Rabelais Spanner.

If Mr_T hasn't entered yet, is there an opportunity for others to? Just seeing if I can muster more entries...

Mr_T is one of the organisers! The last thing he'll be doing is racing.

Don't bin the band! (there must be some group local who'd do if for expenses and a few free beers?)

That had crossed my mind, but didn't want to volunteer for him. I'm sure he'll be passing by here later.
