Anyone use one?

Looks ideal for putting a muddy bike in (front wheel removed) then sliding into the boot of the car

Will stop mud getting everywhere, no chance of pedals or other parts snagging the interior, should contain any water too

I currently use a tarpaulin but suffer with the above issues

Just make sure you don't leave your bike neatly packaged in it at the side of the road...

That looks a good idea! I have a four door saloon and the rear seats don’t fold so have been trying to find something to stick the bike in with one or both wheels removed on the rare occasions I don’t ride from the door.

I think I recall some kind of cover / bag thing being reviewed or mentioned a while back on here, but can’t for the life of me find it. There’s some dog related padded rear seat covers on eBay but I might just go for one of these...

The bag thing was probably the DuffBag

I was going to get one of those but no where has any in stock and it looks like they are no longer made so i started looking for alternatives and came across the Hippo bag

We've had one for years for carrying haybales, wheelbarrow, feed and implements as we can stick it in one side of a horsebox and it stops everything falling under the horses feet when you are hooning it around corners (joke, obv).

They are pretty thick and don't fold very well, quite bulky.  Also I don't think they are at all waterproof, don't have it to hand but they are woven.  Very similar to the bulk 1ton bags for gravel, and those are not waterproof otherwise they would fill up with water!

That + a tarp should get the worst I'd have thought. I just use tarps but I often end up with a tyre track on my jumper from putting in/removing.

At least with the bag the whole bag can be dragged in without bits snagging.

SafeBag looks like it might be an alternative to DuffBag and there’s one over in the classified from earlier today!
