So over the last couple of weeks I've been getting a achy pain in the front of my hip, top of my thigh.
I can't pinpoint if its cycling or running that causes it or both, as I seem to get it after either. It started as an ache that I'd get an hour or so after exercise but I'm now feeling it whilst cycling (but not whilst running), its uncomfortable but I can still ride do things.
So any idea's? I don't remember pulling anything etc...
anyone?
I had a similar problem with hip and heel pain on the right side.
I saw a podiatrist about it and now it is much better - not gone completely but no longer the kind of pain which would spoil my day.
Diagnosis was over-pronation due to unsupported, high arches.
Pelvis and sycrum out? do you drive a lot?
I had something similar - it was caused by a trapped nerve. Phsyio and a change in posture fixed it.
