Looking to spend £15-20 on a hip pack.

Anything recommended? Decathlon? Mountain warehouse?

Need something for the obligatory tools, tube, waterproof and water

Thanks

Lowe alpine fjell. Had mine for about 2 years still going strong. Big enough for jacket, spare tube, tools, pump and more. Nice bit of padding across the back, so very comfortable.

I got a montane batpack one from sportsshoes a few weeks ago, it was around £25. At 6 litres it’s got enough space for 2 x 29er tubes, tube, tools and a packable jacket or gilet. Side pockets are good for stashing snacks and it included a couple of 500ml bottles (although I find it too heavy with them full so leave them on the frame).

Pete Bland bumbag, £18. https://www.peteblandsports.co.uk/buy/pete-bland-bumbag-green_5338.htm
It is simple and lightweight. No padding, so depends on how you pack it. But good for a bit of clothing, food etc.

I paid £4 for some bum bag thing off eBay and it's fine. Big enough for tube, CO2, small pump, multitool and a couple of mid-ride waffles. It's got a nice wide strap so doesn't cut into me. 3 or 4 separate sections for phone, tools, etc.

No idea why people spend silly (like more than £15) money on a bum bag for riding in.
