Anyone with a Hilo, is mine seized and just needs lube and force? I knocked it out of position recently and cant adjust the saddle down at the front at all? Even with the saddle off, it seems jammed. Does the top rotate? I cant remember when fitting it to start with. Thanks

Mine was stuck, give it a tap with a mallet when you have loosened the allen bolt and it will move no probs. The top rotates as the parts that holds the saddle rails is 4 plates held together through a hole in the top of the post with a bolt.

Thats what i thought and have whacked it a number of times. At least you have confirmed the movement, so i'll keep bashing!

I had this when the two sides got stuck at differnt angles, it is just a loose bit sat in a tapered cup so a soft bit of levering with a screw driver popped it out for me.

Had to give it a big old whack with mallet and allen key pointing through hole to back of tapered backplate. Very much seized, best get something on that.
