more hightower wonderings. I've seen an LT frame for OK money.
can i run my b+ wheels in it. fork-wise it's fine, but do they not have the flip chip that the original had?

I used to run my original Hightower with + wheels and the chip in the low position.
Didn't cause me any problems BB height wise.

thanks stu,
i mean yes, i'm sure i can put them in.
trail will be a little different on the forks from 29, tho just the same as i'm used to, ie same forks and wheels and a similar head angle to my last bike, so just BB will be lower than conceived, tho again, not much lower than my last bike, which was low - fuel ex in b+

still, a non LT might be a better option, especially as i don't really 'need' the longer travel

I seem to remember SC made a thing about the LT not being + compatible when they released it, the other wheels not being in the enduro nature of it.

In all fairness I tried my original Hightower with both 29 and B+ and I do think the 29ers suited it better.

LT has a long travel linkage without a flip chip, so no way to adjust. BB height probably the issue with plus wheels.
