I'm thinking of upgrading the crankset on my Hightower. Should I go for a boost or non-boost option?

Both will fit.
I've used both and found the chainline slightly better with non boost.
Both were XT cranks using the same chainring.

Just fitted non-boost to a 2018 TB - it looks and functions perfectly

My Boost Bronson came with non boost cranks, apparently gives a better chainline.

I'm sure my current Aeffect cranks are non-boost. I've just looked on Santa Cruz website and it looks like current bikes come with SRAM DUB boost cranksets. Confused!

The cranks themselves are the same for boost or not. The offset is at the spider or chainring.

I'm running non boost xt on mine with a 34 chainring.
