As per title:
(I believe) I need a higher rise stem for my bike.
I have some mid-rise bars, 5mm more spacer stack than rockshox reccomend and a tall fork for the frame already

Please Reccomend me something higher rise

(based on:)

(Its not quite on level ground)
With:
mid-rise (25.4mm) EA70's (685mm)
105mm 6 degree (25.4mm) FSA XC-170 stem
(large size frame ~ 19"?)

and just because the other pic isn't very good (And has the other stem on)

(its not on level ground in this pic either)

low-rise (25.4mm) EA70s (685mm) - since gone onto my hardtail which has I don't mind being low
90mm 6 degree (25.4mm) FSA XC-115 stem

With limited saddle drop as well(90mm with a chopped seatpost), its difficult to achieve a really good descending postion (unlike my hardtail), and when low makes it harder to pedal.
It climbs well with the 105mm, but I feel its still a bit too low unless its really steep

I've had a look at Thomson Elite 25.4mm 15 degree stems but in a 100mm, would only give 16mm more rise.
For £60 I ought to be able to get some EA50s and a specialized adjustable 31.8mm stem for that
What else is there? - I've not really looked for a 31.8mm high rise stem

Salsa do 40 degree stems too, but a 120mm version of those is effectively only 92mm length and 77mm of rise. I don't think I need quite that much
Not sure I like their looks either

Good question as I have been looking for one as well. Even harder for me as I need an oversize stem. Good Luck.

Hope do their stem in a 25 deg rise. Would that fit the bill?

I have a 70mm one and it's been as impressive as a stem can be. Dunno if they do longer ones in that rise, but you might want to check it out.

I think mine's too tall for my new bike and I'm going to go back to 10 deg rise though.

After more looking around, it turns out bontrager do 25.4mm ones in 10 and 25 degrees of rise, but are 2-bolt (not 4) and look a bit pants:

Salsa also do 15 and 40 degree stems in 25.4 and 31.8mm sizes, but look arguably worse than the 25.4 bontrager ones:

Bontrager do them in 17, 25 and 40 degrees in oversize

a 17 degree 31.8mm one looks alright

A thomson stem is only 15 degrees of rise, and costs a whopping £60. Wondering id theres anything for much less about

Only available in 50 and 70mm, which is too short. They're almost £60 as well
