Maybe safer to get the HP Extra ones which seem to be the same as the wasabi but cheaper.
Oh and any recommendations for good mounts do share, I'm tempted by some of the DX ones as they are super cheap.
duno about DX, but I got a bar mount off ebay with loads of links for about £6, seems fine, plastic is very shiny, the fittings are a bit tight, the nuts had plastic/glue burs that had to be cleaned out and the bolt heads needed gluing into the plastic bits otherwise they came out when you pressed them through the mounts.
But all that was resolved in 5 minutes and it was a fiver not £30.
Also got a tripod and generic velcro frame/tube mount (curved bit of plastic with rubber on one side and a tripod thread on the other) for ~£2 each
Haven't actualy used any of them yet as I broke my arm the first day out with the camera!
