I ride Bedgers a fair bit and often pass by Hemsted forest on the way there. It looks big enough on the map to spend some time in but I don't know if there's any decent singletrack to ride.
I've not been for a few years but there was nothing but a track running round the perimeter. It got pretty chewed up by horses as well.
This information may be quite out of date, but at least I've bumped your thread a bit!
I recommend trying Covert wood Barham, Dargate & Blean Woods, Perry woods near Faversham or Blue Bell hill
