Sorting out all my bits and bobs for a new build, Woodchippers are on the menu but width wise I'm struggling.
I've heard the 46's are massive wide but then (a) so am I and (b) I'll be on the hoods most the time (its predominately for the road this).
Does anyone have either a 42 or a 46 which they could give me a measurement centre to centre of 'across the hoods' where your hands would lie. I know it'll vary a bit on set up but it'll give me an idea...
Equally massive and wide thanks in advance....
Cheers
I'll have a look in a mo. IIRC my 46s are 46 around there. Perfect for me and I'm only 6'1".
OK mine are 45cm c-c halfway through the bend (roughly - I measured it hanging from the ceiling!) just below my ergo levers.
I like mine a lot. The flare works well for climbs and also getting your elbows out descending - bear in mind I never get as gnarl as I would on my mtb. You could cut them narrower and not lose all the benefits if you wanted IMO. And the bends are wide enough but not as flared as midges etc which I've not liked.
druid has some too and likes them.
Tremendous, thanks loads, 46 sounds spot on.
