Don't know if i'm doing something wrong but switched the axle to a 135x10 and even if I tighten the axle just hand tight, the free-hub doesn't seem to want to turn freely. It is worse still when on the bike and behaves like a fixie.

I've removed the freehub and the bearings are in good nick and turning easily. The ratchets on the free hub body seem fine too so i'm well and truly stumped.

If anyone has any similar experiences or suggestions then that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Most sealed bearing hubs will have a small spacer that sits on the axel between the freehub and the main bearings in the body of the hub. It stops the freehub binding up it would be my first guess.

I've clearly lost it then. Any pics to show what I should be looking to find on the floor of the cellar (or suggestions on where to find a replacement)?
