Mate needs to swap an old style two-prong FR-2 freehub. It's the same design as the 4th pic on this page:

Apparently the specific Shimano TL-FH 40 tool was discontinued a few years ago.
Any suggestions for how to bodge a tool? Screwdriver/big hammer has failed, despite some big whacks!

Why not just buy Park Tool FR2C. Or offer your local shop a fiver...

Yes I found the Park tool 30secs after I posted the above! No probs paying lbs but hoping to ride tomorrow and mate's at work all day today so lbs not an option unfortunately
