My friend at work has just bought her little grandson a Ridgeback Scoot. It is brand new and she is putting it togther with her husband. The steering is really stiff. How do you loosen it off on one of these? I know the way the handlebars/stem attach is different to an adults bike, but not quite sure what to tell them. Thanks Alex

Looks like a threaded headset, you'll need spanners 32mm maybe 36.
Take it back...or bought online?

It's a quil stem with a threaded headset iirc.
