[Closed] Help! SRAM Mech Replacement

Hi, a mate has smashed his SRAM X9 10sp mech and hanger and wants the most inexpensive way to get his bike back up and running. We have been through the "You need to swap to Shimano" and the "Why are you running 3x10" conversations but he likes the bike and just wants a straight replacement. Can't find a X9 long cage and the rest of us all run Shimano so have no knowledge of what you can chop and change amongst a SRAM set up.

We have found a mech hanger, just need to know which mech we can replace it with. Any advice appreciated, and any suggestions of upgrades are in vain as we have spent the last 2 days trying 🙂

I think you have to drop to X5 now. They don't do anything above that anymore.

It's all about 11 and 12sp for SRAM now.

Edit:

Looks as if they do a 10sp GX mech as well. You'll need long cage which ever you pick
