I find myself unable to source two pesky internal routing plugs for my Cube Stereo 160 Super HPC
(underside of downtube). I've contacted Cube and been given the brush off, contacted my original dealer which resulted in more or less the same and my LBS are trying their best but also struggling. Anyone got any ideas?

run a full length outer. That's what I do on my stereo 140, right from day 1.

Could Sugru do the trick?

because full lengths outer are much better...

I just ran a drill through the top 'holes', with one for my Reverb hose and the other for the rear mech cable/outer.

The bottom hole is uncovered.

I run the cables outside as someone else mentioned. I found having the cables routed internally with the extra breaks meant that mud and grime could get in more and increased the likelihood of the cables needing replacing. It's maybe not the prettiest solution but it works well (I only run 1x10 drive train as well, so no front derailleur cable to worry about admittedly). Having the cable run full length means that grime can only get in at the rear derailleur and shifter, nowhere in between.

I used black sugru to plug up the holes, not worried about it since.

Thanks for that. I'm still chasing some replacement plugs (surely it can't be this hard) but I will use that sugru (genius thanks) to fill the redundant front mech cable routing. I run a 1x11 and I just like the clean look of internal routing.
