Hi

Thanks for reading this , I have finally got my 2016 Orange Five built but as I was checking everything I found the pivot axle bolts needed tightening however when I did this I had to stop the otherside from spinning as tightening one end made the other end spin too ?

Any advice would be most welcome

Thanks

Isn't there an allen key bolt on both sides of the pivot axle? Get two allen keys and hold one side while you tighten the other.

(Apologies if the 2016 Five is the one with pinch bolts on the swingarm; if it is, I have no idea about that)

No need to apologise finbar , it doesn't have the pinch bolts no

I have done that with the 2 allen keys but when you remove 1 allen key you can still make them both move at the same time just tightening one end

That’s normal in my experience. Also sometimes find one bolt will never come out when you try to undo it if there’s a bit too much loctite on it. I wouldn’t worry about it if it’s all done up to torque spec
