I'm really struggling to get the cassette off. Any tips?
I've little strength in my hand - broke hand/wrist/fingers recently.
I can only think to get a bigger spanner for more leverage?
thanks
Bigger spanner or get it in a vice!
Thanks mate. I'll dodge to screwfix
Big adjustable, locking tool and a chain whip should be all you need.
If it's a hope pro. 2 you may need a second chain whip as the sprockets can cut into the freehub body so you need to tug them anti clockwise to get them off!

Or remove freehub complete with stuck cassette hold the freehub in a vice and use chain whip to tug the cassette anti clockwise.
Assuming you have only one chain whip but a vice as well.
re pro2 issue i just tap them back with a rubber mallet works fine.
You need something like this

I've one you can use if you;re close to Marple...
probably a bit late now but you can extend spanners etc by sticking a bit of pipe over them to give extra length/leverage, you can (possibly if you keep the spanner fit true) also use your foot (leg muscles are stronger) to push the spanner round (don't kick, apply steady pressure)
thanks for taking the time to reply. A bigger spanner and encouragement from 'The Persuader' sorted it.
Some jobs are difficult for left-handers (especially broken ones)
