Apologies if this is a dumb question but Im confused.
Im in the process of building up a stumpy fsr frame which has rear post mount adaptors and Im fitting an XT (M785) brake with a 180mm rotor. I cant seem to find any reference to a rear shimano post to post adaptor, they only seem to be for the front.
Will the front one work ok or is there some other kind of adaptor I need?
Thanks all.

I used a front post mount adapter when fitting a hope brake to my blue pig.

Yes, use a front adapter on the rear, it is the same thing.
