bought for a mate some of the cheap wheels from CRC using 20mm bolt thru SLX hubs. Being a spanner I didn't check which rotors they used... 😳 it appears they're centrelock, and I only have 6 bolt rotors in the spares bin... what's going to be easiest / cheapest, an adaptor or new rotor?

Much appreciated.

The RT52 rotor is 20mm compatible if you use the lockring you should have got with the front hub / wheel.

Some adaptors won't work with 20mm axles so I would buy a centrelock rotor.

I'll double check what size the disk is already on there and go from that. An adaptor seems sensible to reuse the existing disk, but not if it doesn't fit!

So much for a simple task to help a mate!
