Howdy. Does anyone know of anyone producing bar clamps for Formula oro brake levers. Where they match up with Shimano Saint shifters?
Bit like these: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=20152
and these from Hope: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=41014
These shifters and levers are awesome but are a bugger to get nicely on the bar without contact. Anyone know the dimensions of the Hope matchmakers? Will the fit the Formula? (long shot)
Cheers muchly
i might have a pair of those first ones (Formula MC) ones going spare later this week when new brakes turn up
no idea if they work with Saint though
I investigated mounts to make fitting SLX/XT shifters outboard of Oro levers less troublesome and didn't find anything that was specifically make for the job. Would be interested to hear of anything you find.
My 'solution' was to buy XTR shifters which fitted a bit better (but still not brilliantly) and rotate the Oro levers to a more horizontal angle than I had previously though was optimal. I actually think I might prefer the levers where they are now that I've used them like that for a couple of months.
