Hi got Sram PG-990 Cassette but cannot work out where the red shim goes? Is it a spacer? Thanks

Only 2 red bits on mine are the spider and the lockring which holds it on & all together

I think mine might have a red spacer between the smallest cogs. Can't remember though really and at work at the mo so not really much help!

You have your main spider, then a 16T ring, then a red shim/spacer, then 14T I think followed by 11T ring and then lockring? Or something like that. The shim goes between the 16T and 14T though fo sure.
