So.. I have a Cannondale Prophet with the bolt through 12mm rear axel. It came with a wheel that fits it fine, but I want to run another wheel with a Hope hub, (not sure exactly which one, its three or four years old). Anyone know what I need to buy to made it work?

Which hope hub? What axle is already in the hub?

The Hope hub should have a model name etched into it. Pro II or XC probably. Is the frame 135x12 or 150x12? If its 150 then you need a new hub, likewise if its an XC then you need a new hub aswell I think. if its 135mm you can possibly get converters (if its a pro II).

If it's a 135mm Pro 2, you need a replacement axle and end caps. Which coincidentally, I have some of to sell 😉

If it's an XC or Bulb I don't know. If it's a 150mm Pro 2, it's not happening.

I can't see any etching on it. Where am I looking? Here's a pic. It has a QR axel in it now. It's a 135 for sure. [img] [/img]

As said above, you need a different axle and cups .... which I happen to have a spare set of for 135x12.... and I happen to be based in Southville, Bristol.

Yours for £10? You will have to collect though as I am sprog duty today!

🙂

Email in profile if interested.
