My 2007 Kona Zing Deluxe has an integrated headset - the bearings pop directly into the frame. The one it came with was FSA, so in the end I replaced it with another FSA headset when it went. The bearings in both were actually un-sealed though, on the inside, and consequently have become full of rust and grit again.. On top of that the outsides are covered in rust too.
Cleaned them out and put them back and it's working for now, but how to find replacements that are sealed?
I have some measurements but since they are the chamfered kind they were hard to measure and find. They are the same top and bottom. How do I figure out what kind of headset it is and how to get decent bearings?
The bearings look like this but this one's larger, but it's also not sealed!
Take a look at this thread from two years ago:

Hah, was it only two years ago?
Anyway that had an unsatisfactory conclusion, it turns out.
Listed as a fsa no.8, quick google suggests bearings should be 42mm od 8mm high 45 deg angle?
This would fit, you might want to try a better quality of bearing though.
Edit: had a little hunt and none of the high end bearing makers seem to do them. fsa use TH bearings, TH870 is the replacement, simply bearings have them or plenty of others online, crc included.
We use this guy, never had a problem, might be worth contacting him
Cheers for the links.
Yeah the issue is that I want bearings that are actually sealed. I know I'm being picky but it'd really be nice.
A combination of Nick's and Tracey's links might see me right though. Thanks folks.
