I’m looking for a non-winter wheelset for a 26” fattie that’s currently running 100mm rims with 4.8” Vee Bulldozers. So, likely a 29” plus or possibly a 27.5” plus, but I’m struggling to find one, at least an off-the-shelf one
I’ve also asked for quotes from a couple of wheelbuilders but nothing’s materialised there yet either.
So, what I’m looking for is a wheelset that runs on a 190mm rear hub with a 12mm thru axle, and a 135mm front hub with a standard QR. Looking at 50mm rims or thereabouts.
Doesnt need to be super lightweight, or very high end - I’m more interested in durability as the bike will be used for bikepacking and light trails only.
Any ideas?
Ta!
Hi, have a look at Strada handbuilt wheels , have a chat with Darren he’ll be able to help.
Cheers - just dropped them a line. :o)
