Looking for a front mech. 28.6 low band, bottom pull, 9 speed triple. All I can find are the larger bands with a shim and I think they would look gash on my new (2nd hand) Peregrine. Can anyone help point me in the right direction or flog me one?

Possibly a road mech? the shim doesn't look too bad, just a bit of black plastic showing ver the edge of the band.

Road mechs seem to all be big, I just think the big clamp looks wrong on a skinny steel tube.

Road top pulls don't look too bad. The bottom pull ones seem very bulky. I've just put a new front mech on a 1994 road bike...looks okay.
