I've been using my 456 as a Dad's bike ( with bracket fitted for child seat - pain to remove) and also for riding on the roads of London. Now convinced myself and wife I need a dedicated Dad's/Road type bike.
Can't be too flash as going to be kept outside under plastic. Was going to get a really old beater but as I'm enjoying riding on the road now thought maybe a hybrid 700c type of thing would be more fun
(for when I'm not carrying the kid).
Do you think a cheap second hand hybrid with 700c wheels will ride better on road than my 456 with hope hubs and fairly nice drive chain if I put some skinny tyres on it? Do I even need 700c? I'm not going to be doing time trials or anything.
