Time for some new tyres on the eBike but cant decide.
have been running Der Kaiser and Der Baron and they’ve been superb in all conditions.
i’m a fit n forget and most definitely not a serial tyre changer every time the weather changes.
looking for an all round tyre with great grip for wet n muddy swamp land of East Lancs but not sluggish or mud specific. On the 3 days a year its dry I’d also like to roll fairly well. And I want to avoid heavyweights if possible.
Analogue bike has Argotals which seem pretty good but they’re fairly expensive and wondering whether to try a change.
maybe time for minions? But any other ideas or suggestions?

I run Maxxis Assegai's with DD sidewall and maxxgrip compound front and rear on my Spesh Levo all year round
Yes they are a little heavier and slower than all the other tyres ive tried but they always have grip and the sidewalls have never let me down, where i ride we have mud, chalk, roots, flints and sand, basically everything apart from large rocks, they take all of that in their stride, they also handle the extra weight of the Levo well

I came here to say a Hans Dampf and a Magic Mary
works for me all year round come rain or shine, fit them, forget them
I’ve found Hillbilly T9 plus Butcher T7 (Grid Trail for both) is a very good fit and forget pairing, especially for the price.
