Hello all. In a bit of a jam out in finale. We arrived yesterday for a weeks riding and have completely stripped the tread of the non drive side crank arm. Don't suppose there is anyone out there reading this with any spares? Long shot I know but we have been to all the bike shops and they can't help. We're left with ordering new cranks but we loose 2 days riding. Any ideas?

There's a good shop in San Remo so an hour or so away. Very well stocked.
There's a bike shop in the corner (way in the corner) of the main square in the old town. He's twice done helicoils for me on stripped cranks, charged 30 euro each time - really good guy. Can't tell you the name of the shop, but you can't really miss the square (Finaleborgo)

Phew! All sorted at last. Honerablegeorge that's exactly what just happened. Helicoiled by the bike shop in finalaborgo top man .. Bit of a mission getting it sorted but all worth it now. Thanks for the replys much apriciated.
