So, I reached for the disc brake cleaner, sprayed a liberal load on each rotor, then realised I had picked up a can of degreaser by accident.

Luckily the wheels were off the bike so the pads are not contaminated.

Anyone got any ideas?

Yep, just wash it off. Wipe off the worst and then use the rotor cleaner or give it the good news with warm soapy water and a good rinse.

It's DE -greaser, so not the worst thing! Spray with muc-off, then hot water, dry brakes then disc brake cleaner. Should be fine.

Cheers. This is exactly why I rarely clean my bikes.

brake cleaner? car or bike?
car brake cleaner often contains a like oil to prevent rusting. it will burn off in moments on a car... but not on your bike.

meths, or hot water and washing up liquid, white spirit is another nono.

Hot soapy water, and bike rotor cleaner. They are fine now.
