Really struggling with this one.
Whilst stripping down my old bike, I’ve gone to remove rear mech and the crappy soft aluminium bolt head rounded off.
Thinking this would be a good opportunity to use my bolt extractors, I knocked a bolt extractor into the hole- but as I was winding it out, the end of the bolt extractor snapped off in the hole.
I eventually gave up and sawed through the mech hanger, so now have mech free (and need a new derailleur hanger).
Only problem now is I need to replace the B bolt on the mech, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to remove the retaining clips. I’ve snapped 2 flat blade screwdrivers attempting to wedge it up.

If anyone wants an 11 speed XO rear mech, make me an offer.

If it's the bolt that attaches to the mech hanger. Then its held in place by a flat, dual layer very thin washer (think very very flat spring washer). Trick to get it off is something very thin and pointy under the end of the coil, then lift out and up.

Getting it back together is even more fun

What condition is the mech in? Worth more than postage plus a £10?
