Fox shock 5 piece mounting kit (lower pivot)
part: 8mm x 33.8mm
part#: 803-03-182

I can find most sizes in Oz but this particular size is either showing as waiting on stock, discontinued or back order with uncertain time frame

shock has some play which manifests as horrible knocking / creaking sound under pressure/pedalling.

Just wondering if there's a decent source in the UK and I'll just suck up postage cost.

There are also plenty of alternative shock mounting kits for Fox that are as good if not better. Give TFTuned a call and see if they've got an equivalent - their turnaround is really quick as well.

Cheers guys

I'll keep pushing with a local supplier as I'm not keen on a 40 quid delivery charge for a 4 quid part! I don't mind a bit of postage, but 40 quid is OTT

Is it genuinely a £4 part? I just checked Royal mail and International Standard Large Letter size is £4.20. If you tell me what to order I'll happily buy and post for you.

Still doubles the cost so might be worth getting two. PM me if interested.

Thanks people.

I'm being dramatic but the shock pivot kit is essentially a bushing and a piece of aluminium and a couple of o rings. Cheap, right? Yeah not so, plus shipping. Perhaps 4 quid was a rough guess to actual cost (probs even lower). Prices range from about $20 AUD upwards here, but no stock.

I'll have a look on eBay later. Actually ordering 2x and getting one of you lovely lads to post it might make more sense all round.

I'm slowly, 1 by 1 replacing all pivots bushings and bolts. The main problem one is the lower shock mount which has a bit of play and creaks under load. What I should have done is price up a full rebuild kit, not order one by one as I am doing now. Hindgight is 20/20 though, right?

Still, 40 quid postage for one tiny (light weight) part, seems excessive to me.
