My Gore Paclite (goretex) is pretty amazing, its done about 10 years and is still completely waterproof despite the lining shedding and having mud and grit ground into it. Unfortunately the waterproof zip has finally given up, I've been nursing it with soap/wax for a couple of years as its sticky, but now it keeps folding over and opening up.
Can't seem to find a similar replacement, my criteria is 200-300g (my paclite is just 200g), unlined, will stash in a jersey pocket (just), pit zips, a bright colour (not black or grey), and finally, I would like to upgrade to one with a hood (that can be stowed away to stop it flapping) hence being happy to go a tad heavier/bulkier than my current coat.
I've looked at a few, Rab Spark looked good until I realised how long it was and the lack of pit zips, Endura MTR Shell doesn't have pit zips and is navy (but I have just found somewhere with stock of my size), Pearl Isumi MTB WRX has a hood that cannot be stowed (my road jacket is similar and I end up trying to flip the hood inside/down my back to keep it out of the way)
The Endura MTR is really good and breathable enough not to need pit vents (in my non too sweaty type experience).

Need to replace my Bontrager eVent Packable pretty soon, similar requirements.
Not mad on a hood but a proper stow away would be fine, would like pit zips and a pocket (chest or rear).
I like my one of these:
But no pit zips and the hood can't be stowed....
Well, hilariously, it appears my amazing coat never had pit zips...turns out its my cheapo do-it-all/walking jacket that has them (and needs them as it often gets sweaty)
At least that opens up my options! Looking at the Rab again, just a bit worried as it looks too long, maybe it will bunch up a bit rather than brush against the legs when pedalling? The MTR could be the one in the end I suspect...
I think you can ask gore to repair for you
montane minimus?
I was tempted to try a repair but as the inner layer/lining is peeling away I think its probably a false economy.
Showers Pass Spring Classic is looking interesting.
Not sure about UK dealer network, sadly.
Can you not get the orange MTR? If you want bright colours?
On bright colours, IME anything autumnal in colour (orange, yellow, reds, etc) can sometimes blend in a little too much with hedgerows at certain times of the year. Really bright red, blue, even fluoro pink tend to stand out more
