Never had a problem before. The front went fine but the rear appears to have no pressure besides the system being full and bubble free? Any further suggestions before I send it back.
Cheers
Have you wound out the freestroke screw?
There’s a video of Marshy bleeding Saint’s somewhere, it’s stupidly easy and worked a treat for me.
BUT and it’s a biggggg BUT. I’m not sure about Saints, but XTs have a little recess at the end of the slot the disc sits in. If you’re going to let brake oil go all over your calipers to lube the pistons, you’ll have a hell of a time getting the oil out of there. I resorted to brake cleaner in the end, well after 2 sets of ruined pads.
Can you take the brake off the bike?
Aye, that's it - it's a really simple to follow method that gives great results (to me anyway), just bear in mind those recesses.
TBH it's not all that different to the official shimano method, only that uses a little bit of hose and a bag to collect the waste oil

What do you mean by no pressure?
What is the history, are these new or are they just up for a bleed?
I suspect what he means by 'no pressure' is that there's a big load of air still to come out but he hasn't realised yet.
It also could be the jammed piston at lever - you then get a lever with no resistance at all, despite looking bled.

Exactly my thoughts!
You get some pressure even with a whole load of air in and even a leak.... No pressure at all though the piston is probably stuck at the bottom...
Stevextx exactly fella. All sorted now and working perfectly. Thanks for all your reply’s.
