Hi, found this part on my bike shed floor recently but cant fathom for the life of me what it is...

[img] [/img]

Recently have cleaned up and sold a few parts on ebay inc Rockshox boxxers with bolt thru front wheel, Truativ Husslefelt cranks and a chain guide.

Also cleaned up a ladies bike with a nexus 3 speed rear hub. This worked fine when i tested it...

any help gratefully received!

Total guess but is it some kind of crank extractor adapter? Some idea of scale might help as well.

I thought the same - bit of a crank puller.

Agree with Rockhopper

It looks like the bit you put in an ISIS/Octalink BB to allow the use of a crank extractor.

to me it looks like what used to go at the bottom of an elastomer stack in old rock shox forks. but it's probably not that 😆

cheers everyone - in terms of scale its about 1.5cm long x 1cm and the centre pin slides in and out. I'm leaning towards the Nexus hub at the moment.
