Anyone in Glasgow area with a crank cap to remove Raceface Cranks? stripping a frame for my mate and he has a set of Raceface Evolve DH cranks (2006). Looks like there should be a cap (or tool?) that fits in the end so you can undo the 8mm bolt against it to pull the crank off like new XTR cranks.
Have tried an octalink/square taper bb tool, and an XTR one but they don't fit, any ideas appreciated!
Isis I presume- it'll be a self-extracting crank bolt then with the outer bit missing then!

Yep, there's a left hand threaded cap with a 10mm hex hole that goes there.
Should have the one from my knackered Evolve's in the spares bin.

Hi Rob, thanks for that. It's a mates bike that I've stripped for him, and swapped the parts over as he's got a new frame. He's popping into bike love with it tomorrow now, so will email you afterwards if he still needs it.
