If anyone can help, are the inner ankle sides high enough to protect your ankles smashing into the chainstays? Will I have to size up from my regular size to get a good fit ie like Shimanos?

5-10s always seem to come up the right size for me. And they're more roomy than Shimano shoes which Imve always found you need to size up
