Hi all
Bit of a beef really I have been trying to replace my small Giro e2 helmet for a while now but one problem that I keep coming up against is finding store that stocks small sizes for me to try on. I have tried most of the local stores in Leicestershire (and some further away) But I’m lucky if they have any model small helmet never mind anything I would buy. Now I understand small isn’t a common size and I suppose dealers don’t want something hanging around that won’t sell but it is dam frustrating when you have a small head
I have tried just ordering a small giro xar but I cannot believe how different the fit is both in the helmet and the straps. I could not get the straps to sit right at all down the side of my face and if I did, when I looked down the chin strap just garrotted me even after hours fiddling with the straps, and to boot now I have the hassle of sending it back . Anyone got any suggestions???
As im get quite disheartened about finding anything that fits

Cheers
Tony

It bizarre that the same brand helmets are made for seemingly so different shaped heads, been trying on different Giro's over the last couple of months & come across this a couple of times. Though the E2 didn't fit me when I bought my Xen orignially so can't suggest one for you off-hand, other than to try the new Feature (I've yet to locate a large to try).

As your talking about Leicester, maybe take a trip over to Rutland cycles, they seemingly have a large stock of kit & aren't a million miles away (no personal experience of the place)

If it's any help, I replaced my medium E2 with a Giro Phase that fits near as dammit exactly the same.
Edit- titanium/white, and Black/blue models are on clearance offer at Madison, so your LBS may be able to do you a very good deal.
