no denying JRA are a good oufit, but they are bloody expensive at 83p each for DT Comps.

DT Comps can be got for around 66p each (incl nipples) at wiggle, or 50p each + £2.50 p&P from SJSCcycles.

Unfortunately Ive not found a chepaer source for DTs, but I get Sapims through a wheelbuilder for a good price.

DIY wheelbuilding is an expensive indulgence rather than a cost saving homebrew. I do it for fun, but in the end it probably costs me over 25% more than if I bought off the peg! Madness.

found an even cheaper source
https://www.roseversand.de/output/controller.aspx?cid=156&detail=10&detail2=2337

german, so €12 p&p but €0.34 each (29p) which comes to 41p each delivered if you buy 100.

Hear you. Parts for an tubeless rim on a 20mm hub I wanted to build over Xmas were £15 more than than the complete wheel from CRC, and £35 more if I got them from LBS.
