Hi all, just need a quick recommendation for cheapish Helmets for my folks. Its been a long time since I bought anything that wasnt a Full facer.
They wont get much use and will likely spend most their time on along the canals etc.
I was looking atcratoni miuro womens helmet and cratoni c flash helmet
Crationi are not a brand I know. Doesn't have to be anything special just cheapish, comfortable and easy to adjust. Any recommendations?
Cheers in advance.
Only rule with lids is one that fits. Take them into a shop.
As above, one that fits... for comfort as much as anything.
You got a decathlon nearby?
Have a couple of the On-One helmets - good value, great fit and really light.
£19.99 delivered - can't go wrong!
Unless it doesn't fit your head in which case it's no use.
Unfortunately I'm in Australia and they are in the UK so a bit of a distance for me to go for a helmet fitting.
Then I suggest you find somewhere near them who can get them in a well fitted lid. Plenty of lbs will do that.
Uvex are very well prices, light and reasonably well rated by the press.
As above fit is everything though, I used to buy giro helmets, the new giro wouldn't fit so I move onto Bell which does...
get them to measure their heads.
Specialized Align is a very comfortable helmet and has a size range of 54 to 62
women specific version is called the sierra and has a size range from 50 to 58 and is a better shape for a womans head
PS Cratoni helmets are very good. about 90% of helmets are made in china in the same factory companies set a budget and tell them what they want it to look like.
