I’m looking at a new helmet and know it’s very much a personal thing, but where I live the choice is very limited so it’s really mail order off the net.
Currently I have a Kask Protone which is pretty good although due to my bald and peanut shaped head it does have some movement and isn’t overly snug.
I also have cheaper end Giro and Specialized helmets and the fit on these is poor - lots of lateral movement.
Any suggestions from those of you with bald, pointy/peanut heads please? If not I’ll just get another Protone.
Thanks.
When I started roady-ing, I didn't want to spend much so bought a carnac Notus from planet X for £15. It's the best fitting helmet I've ever had.
I usually have the problem where if i go up a size to comfortably get the helmet on my head front to back, it becomes huge on the sides.
I bought an on one enduro helmet recently too, the one with the light in the back for commuting. But I'll end up wearng that for MTB too, fits me better than the £100 Endura I got.
Thank you mate I will take a look at Planet -.
