Off on a jolly soon and I would really like a helmet mounted camera that has remote control and offers geotagging. This will save me stopping and it will be great to just be riding, turn and look at the target and press a remote.

I have a Garmin edge 810 and was hoping I could use the Garmin Virb, but I don't think it adds geotagging to the photo? The elite does, but that is £200 and I only want to spend £100.

Are there any other options out there that will fit the bill?

Thanks

You can geotag the photos after downloading them to your PC. ie just record a track on your Garmin Edge, then you can syncronise that with the timestamps on the photos, to add coordinates. I often do this for photos from my GoPro.
I use Geosetter for this. http://www.geosetter.de/en

Just make sure the time is set accurately on your camera before you start.

I just got a Sony AS30 which has built-in GPS, and can be operated from an app. There's also a wrist remote, but haven't tried that.

I don't want to hijack this thread - but, I'm also interested in getting a camera and was considering the SJ4000, how does this compare with the Sony?
