Has anyone made a bodged mount for the maxx-d or is there one available.?

No as the light is so heavy it'd make your helmet move around. Joystick for the helmet, MAxx-D for the bars.

hunch back of notredam might be able to help though ! i reckon thats what he used when he went MTB so ended up with a hunch !

Not sure how the MaxxD compares, but the 3-led Enduro Maxx isn't that much heavier than a P7 torch.

so are you saying a p7 torch is heavy then ?

FYI i just weighed a joystick and a MAXX D

joystick 75 grams

MAXX d - 300 grams

so strap a half tin of beans to your helmet next time you go out and see how much your helmet moves about , think about home the weight is spread about on a p7 torch compared to the highly centralised mass of a MAXX D

Not sure I agree with that, unless your strapping it directly to your head, your helmet is quite likely to distribute the load.

I'm not saying a MaxxD is any good on the helmet though, just that it's not [i]that[/i] much heavier than a P7.
