Hi.

I have one of those MTB Batteries lights, the new Lumenator 18, works great. But I want something for my helmet also. Ideally an all in one unit, not separate battery pack with MORE wires.

Cheapish - 400/500 lumens should be fine in addition to the main front light?

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

Can't fault Exposure. Joystick or Diablo.

Ditto joystick or Diablo. Light and indestructible, will not let you down and last for ever. I use a joystick mk10 currently, but my mk1 is still in use as a torch!

I'd recommend a Joystick as well. I have an older Axis which might also be worth a look but the current Joystick is more powerful.

However, they don't last forever, I had to have the button replaced on the Axis after it became very temperamental. Exposure fixed it in less than a week for £17 which I though was pretty good.

Thanks. The exposure stuff is great quality (I have a TracR rear), but those are a little pricey for me

I've got something similar to this from Amazon, cable tied the mount to my lid and the battery goes in my backpack.

Battery went the other day after a good few years, got a 6 cell replacement for about £7 and all is well again and it's yet to run out of juice on a 3hr ride.

Moon Vortex Pro (or just the Vortex if you're happy with less light).
