I suspect this might be a case of choose 2/3, but looking at the Lezyne Helmet Lite Drive 1200+ LED to replace a heavy Halfords 1600 (charging port dodgy) and it looks good for the money but I can't get over how high it mounts.

Really like a friend's new lupine thing but v spendy.

Any recommendations for low profile and powerful at reasonable cost? (happy to consider a cable and battery in backpack)

Recommend the chillitech that I have.

Small, very bright and cheap.

Started off with the 900lm original one but was impressed enough to buy the revamped twin led one..... 1100lmn I think. Its very good

+1 for the Chilli tech. Good throw, light weight and if you carry a spare battery you’ve got 3 hours of light on full.
