I roadie limers gate toward old town last week for the first time, it just found it by chance whilst on a xc bimble so climbed back on the road and towards hurstwood via the house of shit. However I wondered if there are any good sections to link the end of limers gate to the pecketts well descent? I may have come off the limers gate route too early and. Just ended up going down some farm tracks into old town, I found pecketts well from there but again only by road.

There seemed to be a trail to the right immediately after the gate before going down the farm tracks, it looked abit overgrown but I'm curious if that's the way I should of gone.

Also is it worth branching off and riding the Pennine way down past the gold club and into hebden?

If you can help by taking a look at the limers gate section on my route below and suggest a better way down or how to connect to Pecketts well.

This is the way I'd come off the moor and head down Peckett Well, so where your track crosses mine, turn about there
