A riding pal has asked me to show him around a route of Hebden including passing stoodley from shaw wood road way down horse shoe lane in a couple of week. I'm aware of the landslip across the Pennine way in front of the pike but wondered if it's now easily passable or better to just miss this part out.

I could pop by and take a look myself but if anybody knows then it will save me the effort and I can go ride somewhere else until the ride itself.

yeah it's not massive really, it covers about maybe 50ft of the BW, and is easily pushable around. I wouldn't change a route to avoid it.

Cheers nick, I've been up there plenty of times so wouldn't be fused myself but some of the gang are travelling a few hours and want to take in as much as possible so I ll do the full Calderdale, hebden, widdop, hurstwood, Delf lane route. saving the Delf lane river trail until the back end by starting before a climb up shaw wood.

I would have liked to drop down from high brown knoll toward Pecket well but think it's going to be too boggy over there.
