Hello all,
Just wondering how the trails are holding up over that way given the recent rainfall?
Might potter over that way later on, so long as it isn't too much of a slop fest.

I'd be doing stuff in the valley e.g. Barely Legal, Midget's, Peckett Well. That kind of thing.

Ground's wet, sun's out. It rained all day yesterday but has been pretty dry the last couple of weeks. No major issues, and definitely not as bad as it has been the last few months! Enjoy!

Pecket Well will be fine, as the boxing day floods washed most of the mud right off it. The other two you mentioned are both trails I might avoid in the wet, as Barely Legal (etc.) got pretty mashed up in the winter, but rode that and Midget's a week ago and they were baked dust.

Trails around Calderdale have been drying out fast for the past month or two.

For anyone interested it' all riding fine, even barely legal was OK, not dusty but not bad either. Only fairly damp bit was the descent adjacent to Sanny's where you turn right rather than left (don't know what it's called) but that was still fun sliding about in the wet loam
